How to create a cPanel backup

The following article covers how to create a cPanel backup using the cPanel backup wizard.

Using the following backup method is the best way to backup an account. This backup method will compress ALL files and folders into a single file. 

Please follow the below steps to carry out this backup. 

Log in to your cPanel: www.YOURDOMAIN.com/cpanel

  1. Click on Backup Wizard
  2. Choose Backup
  3. Choose Full Backup
  4. Leave the backup set to home and insert the best email address to reach you in the the second field.
  5. Click backup. This will take time to complete and the server will email you when the backup is complete.
